Ralph Akard Construction, Inc.

Ralph Akard is a lifelong resident of Indianapolis, growing up on the north side. He is married with three daughters, and has lived in the Carmel area for the past thirty years.

Ralph has been building in the Indianapolis metro area since 1976. He has built custom homes in Carmel, Greenwood, Eagle Creek and in several areas at Geist Reservoir. Ralph participated in the 1987, 1988 and 1995 Home-A-Rama's. His 1987 entry, The Fair Haven, won the "People's Choice Award". His 1995 home in Kingsmill won the "Best Landscaping" Award. In 1990, Ralph participated in the "Gas All Star Home Show" held in Admiral's Sound, at Geist Reservoir.

In 1999, Ralph, ventured into Land Development. The first subdivision, known as "Buckhorn Estates" is one of Carmel's finest upscale neighborhoods. The second development, known as The Woods at Williams Creek, has been very successful and is currently 90% complete with just a few homesites remaining. Homesites in the latest subdivision, Overbrook Farms, are currently available for sale.

Ralph is a member of the Builder's Association of Greater Indianapolis; Hamilton County Builders' Association, and the National Association of Home Builders.
